1. Welcome Pack Information:

(i) The information collected in the Welcome Pack is intended to keep you informed of class events, ensure your safety within the class, ensure legal compliance, create personal insurance, ensure emergency contacts are known, and to allow block booking electronic invoicing (if preferred).

(ii) Specifically the personal details collected include:
1.Your name , address, email address, contact telephone number and date of birth (for insurance) 2.The name and contact telephone number of an elected emergency contact person 3. Your preferred options relating to GDPR
It is the responsibility of the student to inform the club administrator of any future changes to the personal data initially submitted on joining.

This data is collected on line through a secure password protected site (‘Welcome Pack’), and electronically stored on a database managed by Five Winds (Glasgow). In storing your data, it is ensured that the confidentiality of your information is protected and used in accordance with the The Genera Data Protection Regulation, effective 25th May 2018. Your data is not shared with any third party.

(iv) The GDPR regulations are intended to allow you better control of your data.
The storage of your data is required if you attend class. However, you have the option of choosing how this is used to communicate with you, or used in the context of social media relating to the class. The Welcome Pack allows you to indicate your OptIN/OptOut preferences on joining. You may change the options at any time by informing the administrator in writing of your alternative preferences at fivewindsglasgow@icloud.com.

(v) To ensure the security of your information, data is destroyed after a period of time. Electronic and database records are deleted should the student fail to attend class for a period of 6 months, or sooner where Five Winds (Glasgow) receives an instruction to do so on a student leaving the club.

The website uses cookies for the correct functional operation of the site only, and to ensure a favourable experience for the user. The site does not use cookies, analytics or algorithms to collect or store any of the users personal identification information, other than those required in the operation of 1 above (Welcome Pack). Only cookies essential to the operation of the site are active. No information is collected for the purpose of marketing or sales, nor is any transferred to any third party.
